Amazing $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
After a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time that lasts through early December. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. And there are three different bundles offered in this deal.
Primary Feature
The standout feature is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Entry Level
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and continents in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.
Philanthropic Aspect
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
